Strategy for playing craps longer, and getting more free drinks
Drinkmor.com in no way endorses drinking and gambling. But, if you are going to drink and gamble we offer tips on how to play longer and get more free drinks.

Craps is one of the games at a casino that has a very small house edge if you know how to make the right bets. You can also play a long time at the craps table with a small bankroll if you stay disciplined and bet smart.

Craps can be intimidating to play for the first time, but can also be one of the most exciting games at the casino. If you have ever been to a casino you probably have seen a long table with a lot of people at it playing craps. You might hear them all cheering, or groaning in frustration. Most of the time in craps when one person wins, everybody wins, but when one person loses everybody loses.

There are a few good bets to make in craps, and a lot of bad ones. One of the most common bets is betting on the pass line. This is the first bet you make before a new player rolls. If the roll is a 7 then everyone wins. If the roll is a 2, 3, or 12 then everyone loses. The house edge on the pass line is approximately 1.4%.

Once the roller makes a point (rolls anything but 2,3,7,12) then the next bet most players make is on the odds. This bet is placed just behind the pass line bet. This is the best bet in the casino because it is a statistically fair payout.

There are many sucker bets in craps. Do not waste your money on these bets, unless you like to throw your money away and lose quickly. If you are looking to play for a long time, have fun, and get free drinks then just bet on the pass line everytime, and only bet the pass line. If you only bet the pass line you could be at the table for hours with only a $100 bankroll at a $5 minimum table. If you want better statistically payouts then take the odds, but if you take the odds your bankroll can dwindle quickly if the table goes cold.

Points to remember
  • Craps has a samll house edge if played properly
  • Do not fall for the sucker bets
  • Bet on the pass line
  • Take the odds for a smaller house edge
