Strategy for playing blackjack longer, and getting more free drinks
Drinkmor.com in no way endorses drinking and gambling. But, if you are going to drink and gamble we offer tips on how to play longer and get more free drinks.

Blackjack has some of the best odds for the player just by using basic strategy. The house edge is approximately 1% or less for some blackjack games offered. This means that for every $100 you play blackjack with your losses will be $1 or less on average.

The first step is learning basic strategy, and then playing every hand the right way. This can be especially hard to do if you plan to drink while you gamble. Why do you think the casino offers free booze? Hint, it is not because they like you and want you to win. Below you will find a table giving the basic blackjack strategy.

Once you have basic blackjack strategy down cold, then you have the basic tools you need to play longer at the blackjack table. If your main goal is to just have a good time, and get some free drinks while losing as little money as possible here are a few tips.
  • Play at the lowest stakes offered
  • Only bet the minimum everytime
  • Find a table that is full
  • You do not have to play every hand

  • If you have a $100 bankroll and you ar playing at a $5 table then you are obviously going to be there longer than if you play at a $25 table. You should only bet the minimum if your main goal is to play a long time and get free drinks. Also the more people at the table, the longer it takes for the dealer to deal each hand, so find a full table. You can even sit out some hands, there is no requirement that you play every single hand. You can get up and go to the bathroom and take a break, just be sure to be back in time to order your next drink.

If you really want to try and get an edge on the house you can try to count cards. This can be very difficult, especially if you are drinking and trying to have a good time. But, for those interested here is a link to information on card counting. Card Counting Guide
